Deutsche Telekom ha ampliado la cartera de prestaciones de la Open Telekom Cloud con un servicio de base de datos relacional MySQL. De esta manera, las empresas pueden consultar su base de datos directamente a través de una interfaz estándar.El servicio está disponible en una gran variedad de "sabores" para las diferentes necesidades de la empresa, las cuales pueden ir desde una CPU virtual y 2 GB de RAM por 3 céntimos a hora, hasta 8 núcleos y una memoria RAM de 64 GB por un euro a la hora, aproximadamente. Los discos duros de almacenamiento también están disponibles en diferentes tamaños, ya sea como SATA, SAS o SSD.
